Landscaping Company St. Thomas
Over 30 Years of Landscaping Expertise

Landscaping Company St. Thomas
From One Generation To The Next
Since 1993, Beamish Landscape Services has been committed to providing outstanding customer service for all landscaping projects, big or small. Our founder, Bill Beamish, built the company from the ground up and has instilled his landscaping expertise into every member of the Beamish Landscape Services team. With a combined experience amongst staff exceeding 150 years, we take pride in being an Unilock authorized contractor and ICPI concrete paver installing contractors. Additionally, our team includes Fusion Landscape professionals, a designation in rainwater management. Today, Bill has retired and passed the reins onto his son, Hunter, who continues to uphold the reputation for building beautiful, long-lasting landscapes as a family-owned and operated business.

Proven Quality For Every Customer
Beamish Landscaping completed a two-level armour rock retaining wall for our front flower bed in November of 2022. They responded quickly to my inquiry and followed up quickly with a visit to our location by Mike Prong. Mike carefully measured and discussed our plans and possible adjustments to insure we were both on the same page. His quote which followed a week later was comparable to others, but his expertise and attention to detail sold us on Beamish. The armour rock arrived ahead of time and the crew arrived on schedule. Hunter, Sarah, and crew worked tirelessly carefully preparing the groundwork which involved hand digging around a gas line, power line, water line, and drainage lines. They arranged inspection by the appropriate service company. Hunter was a sculptor on the excavators, Sarah on the forklift and the entire crew worked as a cohesive team to puzzle the rocks together. We are pleased by the finished product and look forward to our Spring planting. Thanks to the whole team at Beamish!

"Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Beamish Landscape Services was extremely professional from the time we called them to ask about their services to the final product less than a year later. Hunter, Bill, and the rest of their team were a pleasure to work with and made our vision come to life. We put in a walkway, two sitting areas, a fire table complete with landscaping and we couldn't be happier with the final result. We'd recommend the Beamish team to anyone looking for a professional landscaping!"
Margo Bode

Meet Our Team
Bill Beamish
Founder
He puts the Beamish in Beamish Landscapes. A graduate of Humber Colleges Landscape Technician Program, Bill has become a fixture in the St. Thomas community due to his reputation for quality work, exceptional customer service, and his love for the community. After 30 years running the company Bill is now “semi”-retired. Bill’s new workload is now more focused on fishing and spending time with friends and family, however on most days it has proven more difficult to take the man away from the job than the job away from the man….On any given day Bill can be found educating our team members, drawing on his decades of industry experience, delivering materials or equipment to job sites, undertaking small scale carpentry projects, and ultimately helping to ensure the company’s continued success as he passes the torch to his son Hunter.
Hunter Beamish
President - NPD, Red Seal Journeyman Horticulturalist, ICPI, FLP.
Hunter Joined the company at birth. With 15 years of professional experience interrupted by some brief years attending the Niagara Parks Commission school of horticulture as well as some time in Vancouver as a climbing arborist and some other brief experiences running around on associated adventures, the remaining time has been spent working and learning at Beamish Landscape Services. Serving as a board member for 3 years with the London Chapter of Landscape Ontario, and participating with the St. Thomas Horticultural society as often as possible, Hunter takes great pride in beautifying St. Thomas one project at a time. If he isn’t consulting, managing crews and quality, operating equipment, working onsite you may find him on a snowmobile, fishing with his dad Bill or spending quality time with his wife Michelle in the garden.
Mike Prong, CLHT, FLP
Lead Landscape Designer
Mike joined the Beamish team in January 2021 after spending the last 5 years running his own company in the GTA. Enthusiastic and forward-thinking, Mike is an advocate of green practices in the landscape industry. Graduating from Fanshawe College’s Landscape Design program in 2012 and completing Mohawk College’s Horticultural Technician Apprenticeship Program in 2014, Mike’s hands on industry experience and a broad knowledge of horticulture gives him the ability to turn even the most basic of landscapes into an eco-friendly oasis.
Lexi Drenth
Gardening Supervisor, Junior Designer
Lexi has been apart of Beamish Landscape for the past 6 seasons. Her attention to detail and knowledge of various horticultural practices gained from her time in Fanshawe College’s Horticultural Technician program has led to her well-deserved position as our Garden Installation/Maintenance Supervisor. When not impressing clients with her gardening skills, Lexi continues to expand her knowledge base through her enrollment in Fanshawe’s highly respected Landscape Design Program. This new experience has led to her joining our design team as a Junior Landscape Designer.
Rob Hlatki
Green Crew Supervisor
Rob is the supervisor of our “Green Team” which is responsible for, among other things, large scale softscape operations such as installation of large caliper trees and shrubs, selective tree removal, garden creation, and material handling. In addition to the organic side of things, Rob also undertakes smaller scale natural stone work. Finally, because he likes to play with things that go “Vroom!”, Rob is a reliable source of advice when servicing and repairing equipment.
Brad Peden
Lawn Care and Equipment Supervisor
25 years. A quarter century. Or to put it another way, Brad has been part of the Beamish Landscape family longer than some of our crew members have been alive. That’s a long time. Whether it’s managing the long list of ever-changing wants and needs of our fantastic clients, keeping our lawn care equipment in tip top shape, or meticulously cleaning and painting trucks in the off-season, Brad ensures everything is done to the highest of standards.
Dustin Caldwell
Construction Foreman
Dustin has been with us for a short time originally starting as a general labourer in spring 2021. In just the last year Dustin has progressed to the position of construction foreman. Proficient in the operation of various pieces of machinery, Dustin can sling and stack stone with the best of them while ensuring that the finished product is a picture of quality craftsmanship and dedication. Our clients can rest assured knowing Dustin is managing their project!
Tom Davies
Office Manager / Bookkeeper
Tom has been the bookkeeper with the company for 12 years. Tom originally worked his years managing in the auto industry with many honourable years with the Ford Motor company and Magna in summary Tom is significantly over qualified for his position with this company. However, we capitalize on as many of his skills as we can; Payroll, payables, receivables, HR, finances, billing and many other paper facets of the company. Tom does a fantastic job of keeping the company running smoothly when he isn’t on the golf course…
